First Day Back at Writing

…and I did fairly well, cranking out 2,180 words.

The problem with having an assassin as the main character is that you have to plan the assassinations as completely as he does, and there’s always something you haven’t thought of till the last minute. So I did a lot of backing up and plugging holes today.

Hay Fever Sucks

…especially when you live in the great Northwest.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the beauty of the Northwest. The rivers, the mountains, the lakes. It’s truly a gorgeous part of the world.

The pollen, however, I could definitely do without. For the last couple of days I’ve been either sneezing with sinuses clogged to the rafters, or taking antihistamines that zonk me out (the non-drowsy kind just don’t cut this kind of attack for me).

On the other hand, I’ve had a good chance to work through some of the initial concepts for my new project, so I should be ready to start writing on Monday. 😀
